We have compiled information from many landfills in the Twin Cities metro area to create the comprehensive list we have below.


General Guidelines

  • Maximum 10 ton limit on all loads.
  • Each box must be level full so that it can be tarped and the contents do not fall from the box during transport to the landfills.
  • Customers are responsible for the contents and weight restrictions on each load.
  • If you have any questions regarding any of the items or items not listed, please call before loading and we will double check for you.


Acceptable Materials

The following can be dumped into our roll-off containers.

Unacceptable Materials

The following items are prohibited to be disposed in landfills by Minnesota State Law.


  • Air conditioners
  • Refrigerators
  • Freezers
  • Paint and non-empty paint cans
  • Appliances
  • Office equipment (copiers, fax machines, anything with PC boards)
  • Fluorescent bulbs and ballasts
  • Furnaces
  • Water heaters
  • Batteries
  • TV’s
  • Microwaves
  • Tires
  • Oils
  • Cleaning solvents
  • Fuel tanks or barrels
  • Chemical or hazardous waste
  • Treated landscaping timbers
  • Raildroad ties*
  • Asbestos*

Yard Waste

Yard waste is not accepted at landfills. These items must go to a compost site by Minnesota State Law. We are capable of disposing of yard and recycling material.
